Shoetec – Footwear Manufacturer in Jinjiang, 20 Years of OEM & Private Label Work

Founded in 2005, Shoetec has spent 20 years making shoes for European and North American buyers. We focus on sports, outdoor, and lifestyle footwear, handling every step from market research to bulk shipment. Our daily output sits around 4,000 pairs from a Jinjiang factory floor, and we ship to about 30 brand buyers in Germany, the UK, France, the US, and Russia each year.

Our Story

Back in 2005, our founders stepped into the cross-border footwear industry and saw a broken system: established brands were losing launch windows to unreliable factories, startup designers were being turned away by large mills for small orders, and both sides were paying for timezone gaps and weak IP protection.

We chose to do it differently. Instead of running our own factory, we spent 20 years curating partner factories across Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Fujian, and built a three-step QC system (incoming, in-line, final) that holds the defect rate at 0.3%. A 24-hour English-speaking project team covers EU and US time zones, and we sign NDAs before sharing any client artwork.

Today we work with 30+ brand buyers a year — from niche labels to mid-size retailers — handling trend research, custom design, material sourcing, prototyping, mass production, and on-time FOB Xiamen shipment from a single point of contact.

Output runs to roughly 1.5 million pairs a year, certified to BSCI, GRS, CE, ASTM F2413, and ISO 9001, covering athletic, casual, and outdoor lines for buyers in Germany, the UK, France, Russia, and the US.

Brand Journey – 20 Years of Shoe Manufacturing in China

Six milestones from a single Jinjiang office to 30+ brand buyers across Europe and North America.

2005: Foundation

Shoetec registered in Jinjiang in 2005 with one line of sports, outdoor, and casual shoes; first export shipment went out the same year.

2008-2011: Market Research

Three years on the road visiting 20+ European trade shows and 15 North American chain stores. We translated the patterns we saw — German hiking buyers' preference for Vibram outsoles + GORE-TEX membranes, US running specialty stores' demand for PEBA midsoles — into the product brief our partner factories now build to.

2015: Supply Chain Network

Built the partner-factory network we still run today: 20+ mills in Fujian, Zhejiang, and Guangdong, each pre-qualified for one or more categories (running, hiking, safety, casual, kids), giving us the capacity to scale or reroute orders when one line is full.

2021: Sustainable Innovation

Piloted a recycled-PET upper line with a German client; the resulting collection cleared ECOCERT organic-content audit in 2022 and is now part of our standard GRS offering.

What We Actually Do for Brand Buyers

Two things — connect Chinese factory capacity with European and North American buyers, and run every step in between so you don't have to manage ten suppliers yourself.

Connection and Adaptation
Core Mission

Connection & Adaptation

The connector between Chinese factory capacity and overseas buyers

We pull together manufacturing capacity from 20+ partner factories in Fujian, Zhejiang, and Guangdong — covering running, hiking, safety, casual, and kids categories. On the buyer side we track what sells in Germany, the UK, France, the US, and Russia — like the NBA-grade cushioning American basketball buyers want, or the lightweight lasts British casual buyers order for spring. We turn that gap into a factory brief your partner mills can actually run.

Why Brand Buyers Pick Shoetec

Three things we point to when buyers ask what makes us different: the team, the QC system, and the people who answer the phone at 11 p.m. Berlin time.

Sales + QC + Service — One Team Per Buyer

Every Shoetec buyer works with a three-person pod: a sales lead who knows the product, a QC engineer who tracks the order, and a service contact who answers the phone.

Sales Team

Reads the brief, confirms specs (for example, a Russian buyer asking for softer-rubber winter boots rated to -30°C), and books a sample slot. Average reply under 4 hours during EU and US working windows.

QC Team

Three QC engineers (incoming, in-line, final) live at the partner factory during the run. They sign off every batch before shipment, with AQL 2.5 sampling and a written report you can hand to your own QA team.

Customer Service Team

Weekly progress updates with photos, sample tracking numbers, and a single WhatsApp or WeChat thread. After delivery, the same contact handles claims, replacements, and reorder planning.

A 28-Point QC Checklist on Every Shipment

28 checks, every pair, on every PO

The same checklist we use for our biggest European buyer goes on your first 800-pair trial order. Nothing is downgraded for new accounts.

Raw Material "Triple Inspection"

  • Material composition
  • Environmental protection indicators
  • Physical properties

Production "Five-Stage Inspection"

  • Cutting
  • Stitching
  • Molding
  • Assembly
  • Warehouse dispatch

Finished Product "28 Tests"

Covering core indicators such as wear resistance, slip resistance, bending, waterproofing, etc., benchmarked against EU, US, and other international standards.

Send Us Your Spec Sheet — Get a Quote in 4 Hours

Send your tech pack, last drawings, or a sample reference. We will reply with a quotation, an MOQ, and a realistic production timeline within four working hours during EU and US time zones.

Sustainability: What We Already Do, Not What We Promise

Real numbers from our 2025 PCD report: 30% recycled content in our standard running line, GRS-certified yarn on every order over 5,000 pairs, and a 25% drop in plant-wide Scope 1+2 emissions since we switched to the Jinjiang grid feed in 2022.

Sustainable Philosophy

Sustainability at our Jinjiang plant is operational: every batch of leather, rubber, and EVA is logged by supplier and lot, so when a European buyer asks for GRS documentation six months after delivery we can still pull the chain-of-custody file.

Material Selection

  • Recycled materials from post-consumer waste
  • Biodegradable shoe uppers that reduce landfill impact
  • Water-based adhesives that minimize VOC emissions

Production Efficiency

  • Optimized manufacturing processes reducing water consumption by 15%
  • Energy-efficient facilities with solar panel integration
  • Waste reduction initiatives with 90% material utilization rate

Innovation Practices

For EU buyers who need to defend a sustainability claim in their own annual report, we share the underlying test reports (REACH, RSL, GRS) directly — not a marketing summary, the actual lab PDFs from SGS, Intertek, or TUV depending on which lab ran the test.

Eco-Friendly Material Solutions

Two materials we keep in stock at the partner factory so buyers can place a 1,000-pair trial without waiting six weeks for raw material:

Plant-Based Alternatives

Corn starch-derived polymers and mushroom leather alternatives

Ocean Plastic Recovery

Shoe components made from recovered ocean plastic waste

Compliance Certification Support

The four certificates our EU and US buyers ask for most often, and what they actually cover:

EU ECOCERT
Global Recycled Standard
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
Bluesign Certified

Our certification support includes:

  • Documentation preparation and submission assistance
  • Pre-certification testing and quality assurance
  • Regulatory compliance consulting for different markets
