Waterproof Construction You Can Put on a Tech Sheet

Private Label Development

We run private label waterproof boots starts at the prototype and ends at the packed carton: sealed construction, on-time delivery and capacity that grows with your orders.

A Waterproof Boot Factory That Water-Tests

Every batch goes through multi-stage water testing, and an independent QC team checks EN and ASTM compliance. What that buys you is fewer returns and a seal that holds on every pair.

Supply Chain and Wholesale Support

Partner factories across three provinces cut our lead times by around 20%. Flexible MOQs and freight to the EU, US and Middle East let you scale without changing supplier.

We work with seam sealing, membrane lamination and optional Gore-Tex lining, then test for water resistance and breathability. The aim is to keep feet dry in outdoor conditions.

Gore-Tex and Membrane Options

We integrate Gore-Tex membranes or our own breathable lining, so you can pick the option that fits each model's price point instead of putting a branded membrane in every shoe.

Water-Tested Before Every Shipment

Every pair is water-tested before it is packed. Rain, snow or a stream crossing, your customer should not be the one who finds the leak.

Waterproof Outdoor Shoes FAQ – OEM & Wholesale

Technology & Performance

1.1 What makes your waterproof outdoor shoes actually keep feet dry in heavy rain?

Our shoes use Gore-Tex membranes or our own waterproof lining. Both stop rain and let sweat out. We seal every seam and water-test each batch against the standards your market uses for hiking conditions.

1.2 Can you explain the difference between your standard waterproofing and Gore-Tex options?

Our own coating is the cheaper route for general outdoor use. A Gore-Tex membrane costs more but holds breathability in sustained wet and cold. We licence Gore-Tex directly, so the logo on your shoe is genuine and traceable.

1.3 How do you ensure the shoes remain breathable while being fully waterproof?

The membrane pores are small enough to block raindrops and large enough to let water vapour out from inside. We also place ventilation zones in the upper, so air moves without opening a path for water.

1.4 What kind of outsole grip do you recommend for wet and muddy outdoor terrains?

For wet and muddy ground we use rubber compounds with deep, multi-directional lugs that clear themselves as you walk. We set the lug pattern and rubber hardness for the terrain your customers meet most often.

1.5 Are your waterproof materials durable enough for rugged long-term use?

Yes. We use abrasion-resistant nylon and reinforced leather overlays that take scrapes and scuffs through several seasons. Flex and wear tests on the upper check that it does not crack or delaminate early.

1.6 Do you offer shoes that meet specific waterproof rating standards like IPX?

Yes. We can build to a specific IPX rating or to whatever regional test your market requires. Name the standard and our development team adjusts the construction and materials to pass it.

1.7 How do your shoes perform in cold weather compared to standard hiking footwear?

Cold-weather builds use insulated linings and thermal-reflective footbeds that hold heat without much bulk. Warmth is balanced against breathability, so feet stay dry from both rain outside and sweat inside at freezing temperatures.

1.8 Can you customize the level of ankle support for different outdoor activities?

Yes. Collar heights run from low-cut trail runners to high-top mountaineering boots. Heel counter and midfoot shank are reinforced to the stability your target user needs.

1.9 What testing procedures do you run before mass production starts?

Every new model is lab-tested for water penetration, slip resistance and sole bond strength before we sign it off for production. We also put it on wear testers in the field, so comfort and durability are checked on real ground.

1.10 Do you use eco-friendly waterproof treatments that comply with EU regulations?

We default to PFC-free water repellents and membranes that meet REACH. You can hit European environmental targets without giving up water resistance or durability.

Customization & ODM/OEM

2.1 Can you help us develop a completely new waterproof shoe design from scratch?

Yes. Our in-house designers work from your concept or from market trends, covering sketches through 3D modelling. We run the whole development process as ODM services, so you focus on branding and selling.

2.2 Is it possible to put our own logo and branding on existing shoe models?

Yes. We can put your logo, labels and packaging on one of our proven models, with small design tweaks if needed. It is the quickest, lowest-risk way for a new brand or retailer to launch.

2.3 How flexible are you with material choices for custom orders?

We buy from a range of certified mills and can source the specific leather, synthetic or recycled material you name. If you already work with a material supplier, we will coordinate with them directly to keep quality consistent.

2.4 Can you produce small batches for a new brand launch before scaling up?

Yes. New brands often start with a smaller run to test the market before committing to volume. Our lines handle both small and large orders without dropping the QC standard.

2.5 Do you provide design suggestions based on current market trends in Europe or the US?

Our merchandising team tracks what is selling in the EU and US and can share seasonal trend reports on colour, style and features. We will also suggest changes to your design to fit the demographic you are targeting.

2.6 How do you handle color matching for our brand’s specific palette?

We match Pantone on uppers, laces and soles to your brand guidelines, and send physical swatches for approval before anything is cut. That is how you avoid a batch arriving a shade off.

2.7 Can you customize the packaging and labeling to fit our retail requirements?

Yes. Shoe boxes, dust bags, hangtags and barcode labels can all be produced to your retail spec, in your brand's look and sturdy enough for the journey.

2.8 What if we need to make changes to the design after the sample stage?

Changes are normal in development and we have a set process for assessing them. A major change may move the timeline or cost a little; we will say so early and find the option that protects your launch date.

2.9 Do you offer exclusive designs that won’t be sold to other clients?

Yes. We sign an NDA and keep custom designs exclusive to your brand. Moulds and design files stay in a controlled folder and are not reused for anyone else.

2.10 Can you help us create a complete seasonal collection rather than just single styles?

Yes. We develop full seasonal collections with several styles, colourways and price points, and one project manager keeps the timeline so every item lands before your season starts.

Sampling & Lead Times

3.1 How long does it take to get a sample of a custom waterproof shoe?

Sample production runs 10 to 25 days depending on complexity and material availability. We put samples at the front of the queue so you can judge quality and fit before committing to mass production.

3.2 Can we request multiple rounds of samples if the first one isn’t perfect?

Yes. We keep revising until the design and fit match your spec. Nothing goes into mass production until you have approved the prototype.

3.3 What is the typical lead time for mass production after sample approval?

After sample approval, mass production takes about 45 to 60 days depending on quantity and factory load. You get a detailed schedule upfront so inventory and marketing can be planned against a real date.

3.4 Do you offer expedited production services for urgent orders?

We can rush an order by re-prioritising lines, which may add cost. Send us the deadline and we will tell you what is achievable rather than promise a date we cannot hold.

3.5 How do you handle delays if materials are out of stock or shipping is slow?

We keep more than one supplier per material, so a shortage at one mill does not stop the line. If a delay is coming, you hear it from us at once, with an alternative already costed.

3.6 Can we visit your factory to inspect the production process personally?

You are welcome any time. Walk the lines, see the QC stations and meet the people who will build your order. Send your dates and we will arrange it.

3.7 What information do you need from us to start the sampling process?

We need a tech pack, sketches or a reference sample, plus your material and colour requirements. The more detail you give, the closer the first sample lands.

3.8 Do you charge for samples and can the cost be deducted from future orders?

The sample fee covers materials and labour. Once your first bulk order reaches the agreed volume we deduct it from the invoice, which lowers the risk of testing us out.

3.9 How do you ensure the mass production quality matches the approved sample?

The approved sample is kept as the reference pair. Inline inspections and random checks at each stage compare the running batch against it, so a deviation is caught on the line rather than at your warehouse.

3.10 What happens if the production delivery is delayed due to unforeseen issues?

If something goes wrong we tell you straight away and come with options: a revised schedule or a partial shipment so your shelves stay stocked. You should never learn about a delay from the tracking page.

MOQ, Pricing & Terms

4.1 What is your minimum order quantity for custom waterproof outdoor shoes?

MOQ depends on the style and materials rather than a fixed number. Tell us the model and volume and we will quote against it. We work with both new labels and established brands.

4.2 How do you determine the pricing for a custom shoe order?

Price is built from material cost, design complexity, order quantity, and any special certification or packaging. We itemise the breakdown so you can see where the money goes and where you could save.

4.3 Do you offer better pricing for larger volume orders or long-term contracts?

Yes. Unit price drops with volume, and long-term agreements get preferential rates. Predictable, repeating orders are worth more to us than one-off deals, and we price accordingly.

4.4 What are your payment terms for new and existing clients?

The standard terms are a deposit to start production and the balance before shipment. For repeat partners we can negotiate. We bank through established institutions so both sides are covered.

4.5 Can you provide a proforma invoice for us to apply for import licenses or funding?

Yes. We issue proforma invoices with the HS codes and product descriptions your bank or customs broker needs, and our admin team handles this for international clients daily.

4.6 Are there any hidden costs we should be aware of regarding tooling or molds?

Mould and tooling charges are listed upfront, not buried in the unit price. Once your cumulative volume passes the agreed level, those one-time costs are often amortised or refunded.

4.7 How do currency fluctuations affect our quoted prices?

Quotes hold for a set period, so it pays to confirm early if your currency is moving. For large long-term orders we can discuss a fixed-price agreement.

4.8 Do you accept orders in mixed sizes and colors within the same MOQ?

Yes. Mix sizes and colours in one order to spread your inventory risk, which is useful when you are testing a new market or a new style.

4.9 What is your policy on order cancellations or changes after production starts?

Changes are easy early on. Once materials are bought or the line has started, a cancellation carries cost. We will show you what has been committed and look for the option that limits the loss on both sides.

4.10 How can we get a quick estimate for our specific project requirements?

Send the basics through the inquiry form and you will have a preliminary estimate within 24 hours. From there we can go into the detail and put a firm proposal together.

Logistics, Compliance & After-Sales

5.1 How do you handle shipping and logistics for international orders?

We book sea or air freight through forwarders we have used for years, depending on your deadline and budget. Export documents are prepared on our side so your port clearance runs clean.

5.2 Can you assist with calculating import duties for our country?

Duty is set by your country, not by us, but we supply the correct HS codes and commercial invoice. We ship to Europe, the US and the Middle East regularly and can point you to the rates that usually apply.

5.3 Are your factories certified for social compliance like BSCI or GRP?

Yes. Our partner factories are audited for social compliance, including BSCI, and we can source GRS-certified materials on request with full documentation for western brands.

5.4 What happens if we receive defective shoes in our shipment?

Verified manufacturing defects are replaced or credited. We take responsibility for our own workmanship and move quickly to settle the claim.

5.5 Do you offer warehousing or drop-shipping services for our online store?

We can discuss warehousing or drop-shipping for online sellers who want to cut inventory holding cost. Terms depend on your volumes and destinations, so ask us for a specific arrangement.

5.6 How do you package the shoes to prevent damage during long ocean freight trips?

Cartons are reinforced and lined with a moisture barrier, with padding inside to absorb impact. The packing spec is set for ocean freight, not just a courier run.

5.7 Can you provide documentation for eco-certifications like Leather Working Group?

Yes. Where we use LWG-certified leather or other eco-materials, you get the certificates and transaction documents to keep on file, so every sustainability claim is backed by a third party.

5.8 What is your return policy for B2B wholesale orders?

Because the goods are made to order, returns are accepted for confirmed quality issues rather than a change of mind. That is why we push hard on sample approval first.

5.9 Do you ship to Middle East markets and are there specific requirements?

Yes. We ship to the Middle East regularly and know the labelling and paperwork UAE and Saudi Arabia expect, so your container is not held at the port.

5.10 How can we track our order status from production to delivery?

You get production updates with photos through the run, and tracking once the goods leave. Status is visible in the client portal. For anything else, contact our support team.
